2024 Highlights
Big thanks to al the Coaches and Volunteers that contributed to the clubs successes in 2024.
There are too many Highlights / Achievements in 2024 to list… here is a few
- Marina won a SILVER medal at the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Hong Kong.
- 12 Members passed black belts test including Angailika and Paul who achieved their 4th Dan – Master Grade.
- Our Sparring team should massive development with 6 competitions attended and numerous medals won.
- Lucia / Brooke / Jemma / Marina and Darren were selected for the GB Poomsae Team.
- Our Poomsae Team attended 6 competitions with close top the top of the National medals tables. The Club has 4 National Poomsae Champions including Isabelle, Amber, Lydia and Brooke.
- Master Naraine Refereed at the Belgium (where he was awarded best referee award) and Dutch Opens. Master Cassidy also refereed internationally and won a National BT Award for Best Class 2 Referee.
- Club was nominated for a National “Club of the year award” and Coach Karla was nominated for a “Unsung Hero Award”.
